Rac Shade, a fugitive from the neighbouring dimension of Meta, created by Steve Ditko in 1977. A stolen M vest gives him a force field and throws a huge warped image of him at his enemies. The DC Implosion cut Ditko's run short, and Peter Milligan and Chris Bachalo rebuilt him for Vertigo.
