Isaiah King, a powerful telepath, was aboard the Monitor-One space station when a rogue comet bombarded the station with radiation. The exposure greatly enhanced his natural abilities, as well as increasing his physical form and mass. Driven mad by the effect, he formed the WarGuard with other survivors of the disaster in a quest for world domination. He is the father of Jackson and Malcolm King, also known as the StormWatch members Battalion and Strafe.
