Jonah Jory was a nasty TV personality for WGBC-TV, who showed up in one issue of Batman back in 1970 (Batman #225). When interviewing Police Commissioner Gordon, Jonah Jory used a very combative interview style, flinging childish insults disguised as interview questions and then cutting the power to Commissioner Gordon's microphone when Gordon tried to respond. A short time after the interview Jory committed suicide and arranged matters to it would look as if he was murdered by the Batman.
