Born into an urban squalor, the mutant Beast banded himself together with similar street kids. As urban guerillas, these kids enjoy tagging themselves with the names of the X-Men they idolized. His group is called the Natpuppets. He was stripped from his reality into another reality where he joined the Brotherhood of Mutants lead by a bitter Cyclops and attacked the X-Men.
