Invincible

Mark Grayson is the son of Nolan Grayson, the Viltrumite hero known as Omni-Man. Mark spent his adolescence waiting for powers that finally manifested at seventeen. What followed was the discovery that his father's mission on Earth was conquest, not protection, forcing Mark to choose between his heritage and humanity.

As Invincible, Mark progressed from the Teen Team to leadership of the Guardians of the Globe, eventually waging war against the Viltrumite Empire and reforming it from within. His relationship with Atom Eve remained a constant through alien invasions, dimensional threats, and personal losses.

Created by Robert Kirkman and Cory Walker, with art primarily by Ryan Ottley, Invincible ran for 144 issues and became Image Comics' flagship superhero title. The series anchors the Kirkman-verse shared universe. Steven Yeun voices Mark in Amazon Prime Video's animated adaptation.
