Melissa Gold is a Marvel Comics character who began her career as the super-villain Screaming Mimi, using amplified vocal powers in underground wrestling before joining the criminal underworld. After her voice was enhanced with cybernetic implants by the Fixer, she joined Baron Zemo's Thunderbolts under the alias Songbird. Exposure to genuine heroism pushed her toward reformation, and she became one of the team's most committed members. She can project sonic blasts, generate force fields, and form solid constructs from sound, including wings for flight.
