Abner Jenkins was an aircraft mechanic who built himself a powered suit and became the Beetle, a regular problem for Spider-Man and the Fantastic Four. Helmut Zemo later recruited him into the Thunderbolts, where he took the name MACH-1 and stuck with the hero work for real.
