Fred Flintstone's pet is a purple Snorkasaurus who behaves like an overexcited dog: he barks, he leaps, and he flattens Fred at the front door most evenings. Dino appeared in the opening credits of the very first Flintstones episode in 1960 and was voiced for decades by Mel Blanc.
