Donald Duck's non-anthropomorphic St. Bernard, introduced in the 1936 Disney cartoon Alpine Climbers and established as Donald's pet in newspaper strips from 1938. In comics he is a companion to Huey, Dewey and Louie and appears throughout Carl Barks' Donald Duck stories as a gentle family dog.
