Horace Horsecollar

Horace Horsecollar is an anthropomorphic horse and one of Mickey Mouse's earliest companions, debuting in the 1929 animated short The Plow Boy. Created by Walt Disney and Ub Iwerks, he was a regular fixture in early Mickey Mouse cartoons, characterized by his boastful and attention-seeking personality. After disappearing from animation following the 1942 short Symphony Hour, Horace returned in occasional animated and comics appearances and later in Disney television series, remaining one of the oldest surviving Disney supporting characters.
