Dip is a funny-animal monkey character created for Dell Comics by editor Oskar Lebeck in 1942, introduced alongside his sister Flip in Our Gang Comics number 1. As the monkey-boy counterpart to Flip, Dip appeared as a recurring supporting character across Dell's licensed Our Gang comics. He continued into the publisher's long-running Tom and Jerry Comics line, appearing alongside the MGM cartoon stars for decades.
