Description

Thorgal Aegirsson is the protagonist of a Belgian comics series of the same name, created by writer Jean Van Hamme and artist Grzegorz Rosinski, first published in Tintin magazine in 1977 and collected in hardcover volumes by Le Lombard from 1980. A man of mysterious origins raised by Vikings who is the son of star-travellers, Thorgal navigates a world blending Norse mythology, fantasy, and science fiction elements across a long-running series. The series has been widely translated and is among the best-known European comics of its era.
