Obsidian is Todd Rice, the son of Golden Age Green Lantern Alan Scott and the villain Thorn. He possesses shadow-based abilities that allow him to manipulate darkness, transform into a shadow form, and create solid constructs from shadows. Todd is the twin brother of Jade and has a reserved personality. His powers include flight, intangibility, shadow teleportation, and limited telepathy, often drawing strength from darkness itself.
