Zico is one of Zé Carioca's twin nephews, added to the Disney comics cast at Editora Abril around 1962. He and his brother Zeca were invented so Mickey and Donald stories could be rewritten for Zé Carioca's magazine, standing in for Donald's nephews. Both feud endlessly with Gabi, Rosinha's niece.
