Emplate is the alias of Marius St. Croix, a mutant with the ability to absorb the powers and genetic material of other mutants by feeding on them. His vampiric nature allows him to control the minds of those he preys upon, making him a dangerous adversary. Originating from a wealthy family, Emplate's powers have isolated him and driven him toward dark methods to sustain himself and increase his strength.
