A Royal Canadian Air Force test pilot created by Albert Weinberg for Tintin magazine in 1954, conceived as a Belgian answer to Buck Danny. Weinberg wrote and drew the strip for nearly forty years, producing over forty albums. Cooper's adventures follow military aviation and later space missions.
