Effigy

Effigy is Martin Van Wyck, a man granted pyrokinesis and the ability to create flame constructs and fly after alien experimentation by the Controllers. His fiery powers manifest as burning shapes, and his appearance transforms with flaming hair and a red costume. Effigy often opposes Green Lantern Kyle Rayner, using his flame-based abilities to challenge heroes and assert control.
