Hap Holliday is the father of Li'l Jinx in the Archie Comics feature created by Joe Edwards, which debuted in Pep Comics in 1947. A mild mannered suburban dad, he plays the long suffering straight man to his daughter's schemes. He is a comic book collector, a detail the strip uses for gags.
