This one took a while to get going for me. Hellraiser: Resurrections kicks off with a lot of setup, and by the end I felt like not much had actually happened yet. Mike Costa has a decent idea here with wealthy people chasing the puzzle box, but it never really grabbed me. Right now the story isn't very interesting to me, and I was hoping for more of a hook.
The art is the best part. Paco Camallonga's style is pretty cool, with a gritty look that fits Hellraiser well, and I enjoyed it a lot more than the story. I'll still check out the next one when it comes out to see where everything is heading, but this first issue was just okay for me.
