So far, Hellraiser: Resurrections just isn't hooking me, and this one-shot didn't change that. I liked the idea of giving the Chatterer his own spotlight as he tries to win back his spot next to the Hell Priest. Zac Thompson also has a fresh angle with the looksmaxxing lead, and I can see what he was going for. The problem is the story feels messy. It jumps between too many ideas, and I had a hard time following what the Chatterer was actually up to. There are some cool, nasty moments in here, but it never fully came together for me. I'm giving it 3 stars, and I'm hoping the rest of the event pulls it all into focus.
