Takeshi Okano is a Japanese manga artist born in Kashiwa, Chiba Prefecture. He debuted with Shueisha in 1987 and won the 28th Akatsuka Award in 1988. He is best known for co-creating the supernatural comedy series Hell Teacher Nūbē with writer Shou Makura, which ran in Weekly Shōnen Jump and received an anime adaptation. He later illustrated Digimon Next alongside writer Tatsuya Hamazaki.
