Jean Van Hamme
Biography
Belgian writer and one of European comics' best-selling authors, with series translated into some 25 languages. He began his career translating Blondie and Peanuts for the Belgian press before creating Thorgal with artist Grzegorz Rosinski in 1977. He went on to create XIII with William Vance in 1984, drawing on Robert Ludlum's The Bourne Identity, and Largo Winch in 1990, adapted from his own novels.
