Biography

Yusuke Murata is a Japanese manga artist born in Miyagi Prefecture in 1978. He made his professional debut in 1995 and won the 51st Akatsuka Award in 1998. He is best known for two series: Eyeshield 21, a football manga created with writer Riichiro Inagaki, and his ongoing redraw of ONE's webcomic One Punch Man, serialized in Weekly Young Jump beginning in 2012.
