Shigeru Tsuchiyama
Japanese manga artist (1950-2018) who debuted in 1973 with Dallas no Atsui Hi in Akita Shoten's Monthly Shonen Champion. Writing as Ryu Kaido, he created Ginga Senshi Apollon, which inspired the Daiapolon anime series, and the manga Shakking, adapted into a long-running live-action film series. He became best known for gourmet manga including Kuishinbo!, Gokudo Meshi, and Shoku-King.
