Yūki Tabata is a Japanese manga artist from Fukuoka Prefecture, born in 1984. After placing in multiple Jump newcomer competitions and working as an assistant, he debuted in Weekly Shōnen Jump in 2012 with Hungry Joker. His second serialization, Black Clover, launched in 2015 and grew into one of Shōnen Jump's major ongoing properties, following magic users competing in a world stratified by power. The series was adapted into an anime and expanded into a broad franchise.
