Jason Snyder

Jason Snyder is an American comic book writer and editor based in Aubrey, Texas. He holds dual Bachelor of Science degrees in Psychology and Nursing with a minor in English.

Snyder entered the comics industry around 2010 through Brian Bendis's Jinxworld forums, joining GrayHaven Comics where he wrote over two dozen stories and rose from writer to Editor-in-Chief before the company folded in 2019.

His writing credits include Horntoad Sam Weekly, Dawn of the Undead, IF Anthology (Alterna Comics, 2016), Chronicles of Crime (Killustrator Comics, 2019), Ascend Online (Aetherworld, 2022), and When Night Falls (Moonfall, 2024). Snyder also works as a freelance editor and prose-to-comics adapter, scripting adaptations of Luke Chmilenko's Ascend Online novels and Viola Grace's Sector Guard and Mechanical Advantage series.

In 2017, he received Honorable Mention in Darby Pop Publishing's Breaking Into Comics contest.
