Sam Kieth
Biography
Sam Kieth, originally from California, entered the comic book industry by gaining recognition for his work on THE SANDMAN, which he co-created and illustrated for DC Comics. He later contributed to Marvel Comics, illustrating covers and stories for titles like Wolverine. In 1993, he launched his own creation, The Maxx, under Image Comics, which was later adapted into an animated series that won an Annie award. Recently, he has been involved in producing the well-received Zero Girl for DCE's Homage Comics imprint.
