David Mariotte is an American comics editor who worked at IDW Publishing from 2016 to 2023, editing titles including Transformers, Sonic the Hedgehog, and Atomic Robo. He co-wrote Transformers vs. The Terminator with fellow editor John Barber. A graduate of the University of Arizona in journalism, he later worked at BOOM! Studios. He is the son of former IDW editor-in-chief Jeff Mariotte.
