Biography

Dan Brereton is an American writer and illustrator from the San Francisco Bay Area, known for his painted art style. He created the Nocturnals for Malibu Comics in 1994, a gothic supernatural series with influences from film noir and Lovecraftian fiction. Brereton won the Russ Manning Most Promising Newcomer Award in 1990 for his work on the Eclipse Comics series Black Terror and is a five-time Eisner Award nominee.
