Makoto Ogino
Biography
Makoto Ogino was a Japanese manga artist best known for Peacock King (Kujaku-Oh), a supernatural action series that ran in Weekly Young Jump from 1986 to 1989 and was adapted into an OVA and live-action film. He extended the story through several sequels published into the 2000s. His other works included ALGO!, Oboko, and Sarubia no Umi.
