Biography
Osamu Ishiwata is a Japanese manga artist, born May 16, 1959, in Kanagawa, known for sports and comedy manga in Shogakukan publications. He won the Shogakukan Manga Award in the shonen category in 1989 for B.B. His best-known series include Odds VS! and Odds GP!, sports stories serialized in Weekly Shonen Sunday. He also served as character designer for the Wild West chapter of the Super Famicom role-playing game Live A Live. The manga artist Yoshitomo Yoshimoto is his younger brother.
