Tachihara Ayumi
Biography
Tachihara Ayumi (pen name of Yoichi Ichikawa) is a Japanese manga artist born in Chiba Prefecture in 1946. He debuted in 1970 and worked across genres including sports, action, and historical fiction. His longest-running serializations include Maji! in Shonen Champion, Jingi, and Sakuranbo Monogatari. His World War II manga Tsubasa was translated into French and Italian.
