Kenichi Sonoda is a Japanese manga artist and character designer who began his career at anime studio Artmic, where he created the original character designs for Bubblegum Crisis and Gall Force. He is best known for the manga series Gunsmith Cats, serialized from 1991, and for Riding Bean. His work combines action, firearms, and automotive detail with strong female leads.
