Romano Scarpa
Biography
Romano Scarpa was an Italian comics artist who spent the majority of his career creating Disney comics for Mondadori, starting in 1953. He became the primary Italian successor to Floyd Gottfredson's Mickey Mouse stories and was influenced by Carl Barks in his approach to Donald Duck adventures. His work was first published in the United States by Gladstone Publishing in 1988.
