Gene D'Angelo was an American colorist with a career spanning more than five decades. He began at King Features Syndicate after World War II, coloring strips including Blondie, Beetle Bailey, The Phantom, and Flash Gordon. In 1977 he joined the DC Comics freelance coloring team, becoming a favorite of editor Julius Schwartz, and colored long runs on Action Comics, Superman Family, and Justice League of America through the early 2000s.
