- Batgirl (New 52) – Reintroduced Barbara Gordon as a main character and handled her recovery from trauma
- Wonder Woman – One of the first women to write an extended run on the iconic character
- Red Sonja – Helped redefine the sword-and-sorcery heroine with a fresh feminist lens
She’s written for both DC and Marvel, as well as Dynamite, Dark Horse, Valiant, and Lion Forge, and even dabbled in licensed properties like Deadpool, The Simpsons, and Tomb Raider.
Simone is also a frequent voice on social media and has been an outspoken supporter of inclusion and better representation in comics. Beyond print, she’s contributed to animation and continues to work across multiple platforms.
