Dark Horse opens a five part anthology built around the villain brought in by Halo Wars 2. During the war between humanity and the Covenant, a UNSC outpost comes under attack by Jiralhanae forces, and First Sergeant Jessica Kress is left holding the base with a damaged AI and a few dozen marines.
The Brute leading the assault is a young Atriox, and what the defenders learn about him matters more than the outpost does. Cullen Bunn writes, Eric Nguyen draws, Jeremy Colwell colors and Simon Bowland letters, with a cover by Aleksi Briclot.
