Description
In this issue of X-Men, the team is embroiled in a fierce battle against the Brood Firstborn assassins as they strive to protect Hannah Connover. As Hannah begins to undergo a transformation into a Brood Queen, tensions rise within the group, particularly between Wolverine and Cyclops regarding her fate. The X-Men face a dire situation when Hannah escapes their protection, leading to a confrontation with her own Brood offspring. Meanwhile, her husband, Reverend Connover, is captured, prompting Hannah to embrace her Brood nature in a desperate attempt to save him. As the X-Men regroup, they devise a plan involving Iceman to create a temporary solution for Hannah's condition, setting the stage for further developments.
