The villain is Revenant, chasing an old grudge against his father, Jeff Morales, from his S.H.I.E.L.D. days. It's one of six #1s on the shelf this Wednesday.
Absolute Batman had the bigger week in dollars and cents. ICv2's July sales chart, released this week, puts Absolute Batman #22 at number one, both by units and by dollars. Comic Book Club, breaking down the same chart, counted DC in 23 of the Top 50 slots to Marvel's 17, a reversal from the lead Marvel held a year ago. Absolute Batman #23 ships Wednesday from the same team, Scott Snyder and Nick Dragotta.
