1First Comics is the revived incarnation of Chicago's First Comics, the 1980s creator-owned publisher behind American Flagg!, Grimjack, and Nexus. Co-founder Ken Levin relaunched the company in 2011, and it has since published new creator-owned series alongside a board game division.
