Ultimate Spider-Man (2024)

Ultimate Spider-Man reimagines Peter Parker's origin story in the new Ultimate Universe, presenting a radically different take on the iconic hero. Written by Jonathan Hickman with art by Marco Checchetto, this series explores what happens when Peter Parker becomes Spider-Man later in life—not as a teenager, but as a married father of two children, Richard and May. When Tony Stark reveals that Peter was meant to become Spider-Man in his youth but was prevented by the villainous Maker's interference, Peter is given a second chance at heroism. The series balances Peter's responsibilities as a father and husband to Mary Jane with his newfound role as a costumed vigilante, while also featuring Harry Osborn in a heroic Green Goblin role and a still-living Uncle Ben. This critically acclaimed series launched the new Ultimate Universe line in January 2024 and is planned to conclude with issue #24 in December 2025, telling a complete story from beginning to end.
