The fifth volume of Birds of Prey launched in September 2023 as part of DC's Dawn of DC initiative. Written by Kelly Thompson in her DC writing debut, with art by Leonardo Romero, colors by Jordie Bellaire, and letters by Clayton Cowles.
The series features Black Canary (Dinah Lance) leading a new team consisting of Cassandra Cain as Batgirl, Big Barda, Zealot, and Harley Quinn, with Barbara Gordon joining later in the run. The 28-issue series concluded in February 2026.
Collected editions include Megadeath (Vol. 1), Worlds Without End (Vol. 2), and Bird Undercover (Vol. 3).
