Speed Racer (2025)

A reimagining of the classic Tatsunoko racing property, published by Mad Cave Studios and written by David Pepose with art by Davide Tinto and colors by Rex Locus. It moves Speed Racer into a neon-lit near-future where the underground circuit has no rules and a race can turn deadly. Speed lives for proving himself behind the wheel, but when a criminal syndicate sets its sights on his family, his troubles spill off the track and into the streets, with the police closing in and a masked rival watching from the shadows. The book mixes high-velocity action with family drama and crime intrigue. It launched as an ongoing title and anchors a new Mad Cave line that also includes Racer X and Speed Racer: Tales from the Road.
