Ziltoid the Omniscient (2023)

Canadian metal musician Devin Townsend's alien coffee addict gets his own comic origin story through Incendium's Opus imprint. Ziltoid, the bizarre extraterrestrial from the planet Ziltoidia 9, was first introduced in Townsend's 2007 rock opera album of the same name. In this comic adaptation, a young Ziltoid discovers an electric guitar among Earth relics and gets thrust into a destiny tangled up with the most precious substance in the universe: coffee.

Written by Lars Kenseth (The New Yorker, Mad Magazine) with art by Andy Kuhn (Firebreather, Marvel Team-Up), each prestige issue runs 30 story pages at the Opus signature $6.66 price point. Ryan Christensen provides variant cover art.
