Lone Wolf and Cub

Framed by the Yagyū clan for his wife's murder, Ogami Ittō — the shōgun's executioner — is stripped of his post and set on meifumadō, the road to hell. Father and infant son Daigorō wander Edo-period Japan as assassins-for-hire, selling their swords while Ittō plots vengeance against the Yagyū.
