Introduction to Following

Following subscribes you to anything you care about on VerseDB. When something you follow has new activity — a new issue drops, a creator is credited on a release, a podcast publishes an episode — you can be notified.

What You Can Follow#

  • Titles — franchises like "Spider-Man" or "Batman" (covers every series under the title)
  • Characters — individual heroes, villains, or supporting cast
  • Creators — writers, artists, and other contributors
  • Podcasts — comic-related shows tracked on VerseDB
  • Story Arcs, Teams, Comic Events, Publishers, Comic Shops — most content types have a Follow button on their page
  • Users — other community members
  • Lists and Reviews can also be followed to get updates

Tip

Following a title is the broadest option — it covers every volume and reboot. Following a specific series (via the Pull List) tracks upcoming issues in that one run.

How to Follow#

On any followable page, click Follow in the sidebar or action bar. The button becomes Following to confirm. Click it again to unfollow.
