Eugene "Flash" Thompson was a star athlete at Midtown High, known for tormenting Peter Parker. Ironically, he was also Spider-Man's most enthusiastic supporter.

After high school, Thompson served in the military, becoming a decorated veteran. He later bonded with the Venom symbiote, operating as the hero Agent Venom, and eventually became Anti-Venom.
