Description
Artemis of Bana-Mighdall is a DC Comics Amazon warrior created by William Messner-Loebs and Mike Deodato, debuting in Wonder Woman #90 (1994). A member of the fierce Egyptian Amazon tribe of Bana-Mighdall, she is trained as one of her people's greatest fighters and serves as a rival and occasional ally to Diana of Themyscira. She briefly held the title of Wonder Woman after defeating Diana in a Contest of Champions before returning to her role as the champion of her own tribe.
