Doctor Double X is the alias of Simon Ecks, a scientist who created a powerful energy duplicate of himself called Double X. This energy being shares Ecks' consciousness but can act independently, wielding abilities such as flight, energy blasts, and superhuman strength. The duplicate relies on electrical energy to remain active, otherwise it remains dormant within Ecks' body.
