Han Solo is a roguish smuggler and pilot who becomes a hero of the Rebel Alliance, first appearing in Marvel Comics' Star Wars #2 in 1977, adapted by Roy Thomas with art by Howard Chaykin from George Lucas's original film. Accompanied by his Wookiee co-pilot Chewbacca aboard the Millennium Falcon, he is one of the Star Wars franchise's most recognizable characters and appears throughout Marvel's original comic run and subsequent adaptations. He has also headlined several Star Wars limited series across multiple publishers.
